Earn to Learn FL

Earn to Learn FL is seeking to help more Florida students pursue postsecondary education – but we need your help.  

Earn to Learn FL™ helps low-to-moderate income students earn a higher education with little or no student debt. It’s a simple formula that combines mandatory student savings with financial aid, required financial literacy training, and success coaching.

The cost of education is a root cause of Florida’s workforce development problem. Many students cannot afford the debt that has become the downside to pursuing education. Earn to Learn FL will ensure that more students graduate, as well as provide access to higher education and career training to those from diverse economic backgrounds who now consider higher education beyond their reach.

In 2020 Earn to Learn FL is beginning an AmeriCorps program to reach out to students in Lee, Hendry, Collier, Charlotte and Hillsborough counties. ​The goal of Near Peer Coaching for Postsecondary Success (AmeriCorps) is to increase the number of high school students who enroll and complete postsecondary education. Near Peer Coaches are current college students or recent college graduates from universities and colleges. Near Peer Coaches receive intensive training to order to deliver personalized, knowledgeable support on college admission, financial aid and enrollment to low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students.
