    About Us

Oregon State University's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program has been operating a site on its Corvallis campus since 2019. In 2025, we started new sites in Eugene and Bend in partnership with OSU Cascades and OSU Extension. During the 2025 tax season, we completed over 1000 returns for Oregon taxpayers!

VITA volunteers receive extensive training and become IRS-certified. OSU Students and volunteers who complete this training not only help the community but also educate themselves and enhance their resumes and careers. This year we hope to add more volunteers to the team and create more connections with the communities we serve. More information on the volunteer experience can be found at: IRS tax volunteers | Internal Revenue Service
