About Us
Our mission at Clio is to mitigate social isolation - while maintaining physical distance - among seniors living in New York City, for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
While Clio aims to serve older adults living in New York, volunteers can live anywhere. We provide needs assessments, referrals to key resources, social support, and informational resources.
We offer seniors three connection options:
- Being paired with a volunteer who will provide a phone call every week, letter every two weeks, and an occasional package.
- Being paired with another senior with similar interests to connect and check up on one another.
- Service navigation provided by trained staff
