    First Friends of NJ & NY is a 20+ year organization that provides visitation and support to immigrants in ICE detention. We run the oldest and largest ICE detention visitation program in the country. A key component of our work is providing these same immigrants with post-release assistance such as pickup from jail, short-term accommodation, transportation to reunite them with family members, cash assistance, accompaniment, and connections to other social service agencies.
