    The Safety Network for Abused Animals and People (SNAAP) is a network of volunteers, domestic violence and animal welfare organizations dedicated to helping domestic violence victims who have pets. We have a Safe Haven Foster Program that is available to victims entering a domestic violence shelter in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Our goal is to ensure that both the human and animal victims of domestic violence are able to reach safety.
