Mission
We are a Christ-centered organization that empowers justice-involved females toward self-sufficiency, esteem, and wholeness. Empowerment and advocacy are imbedded in our very foundation. We believe that empowerment equips women to envision and have confidence in achievements beyond their difficulties. We act as advocates to their overall success, and to what they have envisioned for themselves, knowing and being certain that our encouragement and support have the potential to positively influence these women, their families and the surrounding community.
About Us
Just the Beginning intentionally applies the theme of holistic restoration by providing various forms of support and resources to its program participants both in and out of the justice system. There are two main program components: Community Outreach (which extends into correctional facilities) and the JTB Empowerment Program (for women in transition or on parole).
