    York Pride is one of the biggest regional prides in Ontario. We continue to celebrate the power and beauty of diversity in one of Canada’s most vibrant and growing regions. Our mission is to inspire positive change through human connections, support, and education, while providing 2SLGBTQ+ focused events that highlight our queer culture and the importance of creating inclusive spaces within and beyond York Region. Our vision is to make York Region the ultimate destination for 2SLGBTQ+ experiences.

    About Us

    We host events throughout York Region in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Our major event, our pride festival, takes place in Newmarket in June. With 24 years of work, our organization has done amazing things, and it couldn't have been done without the support of our surrounding companies. We have smaller projects such as HallowQueen, Skating with Pride, a youth program, and attend many surrounding events hosted by our supporters. As York Pride continue to grow, we can achieve new things and connect with more people.
