    Empowering girls and women to prevent and combat sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Thailand and across the Mekong region. Founded in 2002, Openaid has invested significantly in long-lasting relationships at the grassroots in rural villages and focused on education, micro enterprise and leadership development. Openaid founder and executive director, Justin Whitecross, continues to lead and develop the organisation. Strategic planning is continuous and continues to guide strategies and programs addressing factors specific to trafficking and sexual exploitation. The organisation is active in Australia with awareness raising and leadership development.
