    About Us

    Since 1979, Paws With A Cause (PAWS) has been transforming lives and strengthening communities through partnerships with custom-trained working dogs. Whether its assistance dogs supporting people with disabilities or facility dogs providing comfort and joy for a community, PAWS dogs empower individuals and inspire connection. PAWS provides services in over 20 states and has placed more than 3,500 assistance and facility dogs throughout the country.

    PAWS trains and places:

    • Service dogs for physical mobility

    • Hearing dogs

    • Epileptic seizure response dogs

    • Service dogs for children with autism

    • Medical alert detection dogs

    • Facility dogs for schools, hospitals, and other organizations
