PIVOTPOINT WNC

We are organized for the purpose of nurturing a culture of connection and reminding individuals, particularly those in recovery from Substance Use Disorder, that they are not alone in their struggles. By raising funds and offering experiential services, we will support all individuals actively engaged in healing modalities and programs in experiencing the restorative properties of the natural environment. We will provide access to experiential service providers, aiding those in recovery by promoting a connection to nature and working in collaboration with other like-minded organizations to support the continuum of care for individuals living with Substance Use Disorder. We have been working with the at-risk and recovery populations of Western North Carolina for a number of years and support our community's adjudicated youth and young-adult recovery community with therapeutic adventure/wilderness offerings. Our goal is to amplify access to our evidence-based modalities so that all who can benefit from intentional, , clinically-informed, mindfully-facilitated outings in the natural environment have the opportunity.
