    What We Do: Both Novato Youth Center (NYC) and Novato Human Needs Center (NHNC) had over 40-year histories of serving people in need in Novato and our surrounding communities. Now stronger together as North Marin Community Services (NMCS), our 60 staff and 300 volunteers serve 10,000+ youth, adults and families annually. Currently over 75% of those we serve are from low-income families, and our three program areas (Child Development, Health & Wellness, and Family & Community Engagement) work together to yield great impacts. Who We Are: MISSION We empower youth, adults and families in our diverse community to achieve well-being, growth and success. VISION A strong community with opportunities for all.
