About Us
The Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (EGPS) is a not-for-profit organization that promotes group approaches to the delivery of human services. To this end, EGPS sponsors a number of activities, including an annual conference, a nationally regarded Training Program, a quarterly journal (“Group”) and a group psychotherapy referral service. The organization also conducts community and organizational outreach programs, including emergency response and relief work. The members of EGPS are a diverse group of mental health professionals who are committed to serving people in need throughout the Tri-State area.
