Nobel Neighbors

  • About Us

Nobel Neighbors is a community organization founded over in 1985 for the improvement of the quality of life for residents and for those who go to school within the borders of North Avenue, Pulaski, Division, and Kostner in the West Humboldt Park area. Over the past 25 years, Nobel Neighbors has worked to better the community through various housing, education, and community service initiatives.
In 2013-2014, Nobel Neighbors underwent a strategic planning process to refocus its efforts on youth and education, in partnership with the two local public schools, Alfred Nobel Elementary and West Park Academy. This new chapter in the history of Nobel Neighbors begins with the launch of an after-school tutoring program, to start in the fall of the 2014-2015 school year.
