Senior Citizens Council of Clackamas Co

  • Mission

Our mission is to offer services not provided by other agencies for homebound, frail and geographically isolated individuals. Our programs promote independence, improve quality of life, and prevent or end abuse, neglect (including self-neglect) and exploitation of at risk seniors and adults with disabilities.

    About Us

Our nonprofit, the Senior Citizens Council of Clackamas County, serves seniors and adults with disabilities who face abuse, neglect, or exploitation. We offer unique programs:

    1. Guardianship/Conservatorship: Court-appointed surrogate decision-makers safeguard vulnerable adults' interests and dignity.

    2. Guardianship Diversion: Prevents costly court interventions by providing advocacy and financial management, empowering independence.

We're integrating more mental health support to provide holistic care. Clients, often at or below 300% of the federal poverty level, face isolation and trust issues. Join us to make a difference. If interested in the board member position, reach out.
