Sexual Assault Services

We offer a wide range of services to help survivors cope with the trauma of sexual assault. We offer hospital accompaniment following an assault, where an advocate will guide the survivor through the immediate medical and legal process. Our crisis line is available 24 hours a day to provide the support that is needed, when it is needed. Safe shelter is available to survivors who need a safe place to stay.

In the days that follow, survivors of sexual assault may experience a variety of emotions, including shock and disbelief, shame and guilt, fear and anxiety, and anger. Physical symptoms such as sleep disturbances, headaches and stomachaches may be experienced. Counseling is available as individuals cope with the emotional aftermath, whether the assault was recent or a long time ago. A support group can help decrease feelings of isolation, and promote change and growth for participants.

The court process can be difficult to understand and navigate, especially so after victimization of such a personal nature. We offer court advocacy and accompaniment to help with this process.

Whatever the circumstances, our goal is to provide the encouragement and support needed to promote healing, as survivors find their way in their personal recovery process.
