  • About Us

Resilient Cities Catalyst (RCC) is a non-profit organization based in New York, NY, established in 2019, that seeks to transform the partnerships between government and vulnerable communities most impacted by climate, economic, and social challenges to ensure communities are more resilient and able to thrive today and into the future. We partner with city governments, businesses, neighborhoods, and community stakeholders to make sure physical and social investments are working to strengthen resilience. Our work builds on the pioneering legacy of the 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) Initiative at Rockefeller Foundation in urban resilience planning and action. RCC works with partners around the globe to:

    1. Build capacity across partnerships between cities and their communities to develop shared goals and an enabling environment that drives policy, planning, design, finance, and institutional resources towards resilience-building efforts.
    2. Ensure that long standing ideas are turned into meaningful and impactful action by addressing gaps between project plans, project funding and implementation, and desired impacts.
    3. Share and replicate learnings through a growing community of practice.
