    Tara Home is a hospice cottage in the redwoods at Land of Medicine Buddha where compassionate care is given by volunteers around the clock to a patient near the end of life. It is a nondenominational nonprofit set at a Buddhist retreat in a forest, which also has an elementary school and beautiful hiking trails.
