  • About Us

OUR MISSION The Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA) is a non-profit community-based educational organization incorporated in 1991. Our mission is to create a more humane and democratic society by responding to the needs and problems of disenfranchised people through leadership development and educational programs based in Popular Education methodology. Specifically, our goal is to organize and educate members of low-income Latina and Latino immigrants concerned with solving problems in their own communities.
