About Us
Loudoun Museum is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization located in Leesburg, Virginia that serves the community as the only general history museum in the county. In operation since 1967, Loudoun Museum connects the past to the present and makes the vibrant history of Loudoun County tangible, relevant, and meaningful for today's diverse communities and for future generations.
We strive to fulfill our mission by:
- Creating engaging programs for all ages
- Engaging in dynamic public outreach efforts to promote heritage tourism and local events
- Collecting and caring for the heritage of Loudoun County
- Supporting, encouraging and undertaking research and documentation of our county's rich history
