Create a sustainable manufacturing skilled workforce in the NW suburbs of Chicago.  To that end we are assisting in creating a 'Maker Space' in our region to promote hands-on learning and innovation. 

A Maker Space is like a community garage full of tools to make things.  We need an operations manager to help us get it going as a volunteer and than get paid after the start-up year.  Google maker Space Movement to learn more if not familiar with the concept sweeping the globe.
