ANCHOR HOLDS

In order to foster a safe space for those in need, The Anchor Holds plans to show the love of God in the form of service to others. The Anchor Holds plans to provide resources for mental and physical health, food, toiletries, activities and more. The Anchor Holds was an idea founded by God and executed by those wishing to serve him. Luke 8:4-16 is the basis on which The Anchor Holds received its name. In these verses, Jesus is telling a parable about a sower who planted many seeds as he went, all failing to thrive, except for those that fell on good ground and those plants yielded a crop that was a hundred times more plentiful and beautiful. The verses finish by saying, "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light." Here at The Anchor Holds, we want to be that light and spread God’s love in hopes that we may help restore beauty in the darkness caused by tragedy and circumstances that affect so many people.

The Anchor Holds was founded on the basis that God is the anchor.

Isaiah 40:31 " They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
