  • Mission

To teach and learn Spanish, Maya and English through authentic intercultural experiences which promote and inspire global citizenship and contribute to the sustainable development of our local community.

    About Us

Na’atik Language and Culture Institute is a nonprofit located in the Zona Maya of Quintana Roo, Mexico. We are made up of Mexican and international staff offering English language classes, a free lending library, free extracurricular activities, and intercultural activities to our local students. Foreigners from around the world come to learn Maya or Spanish with us through our MaS (Maya and Spanish) immersion or online language programs where they also participate in intercultural activities and learn about our region of Mexico. We pride ourselves in being a sustainable organization and understand that what we do is for the benefit of our local community. Our name, Na'atik, comes from the Maya expression meaning 'Toon Na'atik' or 'We're understanding each other.
