About Our Organization:  First State CLF is a not-for-profit, federally certified, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that supports small and micro businesses and community development projects. The mission of First State CLF is to educate, empower, and elevate business owners, and entrepreneurs, by augmenting technical expertise, increasing access to capital and stimulating business growth throughout Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania.

The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at First State CLF is a program that encourages the development of Delaware-based, small, women-owned businesses, through training, counseling and access to capital.
