  • Mission

Our highly trained community volunteers passionately support the overall well-being and best interests of children in the foster care system and effectively collaborate with their families and other support systems.

    About Us

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national volunteer movement founded in 1977. CASA in the Heart of Texas is a member of the National and Texas CASA Associations. There are more than 1,000 CASA programs nationwide and 72 CASA programs in the state of Texas. CASA volunteer Advocates are individuals from all walks of life who speak up for a child’s best interests in court. You are not a foster parent, you are helping to ensure that the child’s voice is heard, making a real difference at a critical turning point in the child’s life.
