About Us
Moving History is the non-profit arm of Guardian Dance Company, which practices, performs and passes on African American history and culture through dance. The Moving History curriculum familiarizes students in Baltimore City and beyond with the contributions of African Americans in the Arts, and how they relate to social movements across the decades. We are a fiscally-sponsored project of Strong City Baltimore.
