ASSE International Student Exchange Programs, Carolinas

ASSE places teenage foreign exchange students from 31 countries around the world in American host family homes so that they can attend high school here for a school year. Similarly, ASSE takes American teens to these 31 countries and places them in host family homes to attend school there. Additional and special ASSE programs place Muslim youth, teens who live in what was once The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and other special groups. The purpose of all student exchange is to increase inter-cultural understanding and forge a link between the diverse nations and cultures of the world. ASSE, Carolinas uses Area Representatives from throughout North and South Carolina to mentor these students and the host families who open their homes to them so that the transition and the full school year are pleasant for all.
