  • About Us

    MISSION

We provide vital services in moments of need to support safety, reduce suicide, and build resilience across Kansas.

    VISION

All Kansans feel connected and live healthy, hopeful lives.

    PHILOSOPHY

KSPHQ provides vital services in moments of need to support safety, reduce suicide, and build resilience across Kansas. We hold the belief that everyone is doing the best they can to the best of their abilities and with the tools they have available. We believe everyone has value, deserves to feel heard, has the right to privacy, and deserves to feel safe. KSPHQ seeks systemic change by informing administrators and legislators to create and modify public policy, as well as providing training to state and local public service systems. In line with the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Code of Ethics, we respect the inherent dignity and worth of each person, particularly those in vulnerable populations; we work within our areas of competence and develop and enhance our expertise when new needs arise in accordance with best practices. KSPHQ advocates for safety and looks to a future in which all Kansans feel connected and live healthy, hopeful lives.
