The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas

The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas is a nonprofit organization that empowers young people to discover their voices through creative writing and storytelling. Through in-school and after-school programs, workshops and other opportunities, we create spaces where young people can write, imagine and share their stories.

We are based in Yesler Terrace, where we host in-person, after-school programs. We continue our legacy of after-school programming in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood through a partnership with the Seattle Public Library. We also work in classrooms during school hours in partnership with Seattle Public Schools, and we collaborate with other community organizations across Greater Seattle.
