  • About Us

Our mission is to educate, empower, and support families and communities to better understand and care for the mental health of our youth.

We envision a world made up of informed families and caring communities that realize and strengthen the mental health of our youth -- a world where people are just as aware of their mental health as their physical health, where families are validated and able to readily access the care they need.

    Primary Programs and Services:

    • The Parent Support Network™: The PSN aims to provide all parents, and adult caregivers who are concerned about their children’s struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges with the opportunity to find guidance, resources, and support from other parents. We serve families with children to age 25.
    • Education and Awareness Raising Events:
    • Film Screenings: Screenings of our production, The Mental Health Monologues, and award-winning film, NO LETTING GO, which enable parents to better understand their children's experience of mental health, break through feelings of shame and isolation they experience as their children struggle, and open community dialogue about mental health.
    • Public Events: The YMHP sponsored webinars, speaking engagements at community events, conferences, schools, etc.
    • The YMHP Library: A trove of free, public, downloadable educational materials
