  • About Us

Rural Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in rural areas with euthanasia rates of 80% or higher.

We save stray dogs, who can be euthanized 72 hours after they are found, and owner surrenders, who can be euthanized immediately if the shelter is full.

Most of these dogs' lives depend on a dedicated network of volunteers and rescues to save them from a certain death.
