Kyampisi Women Empowerment Resource Centre

The goal is to foster self-sufficiency, leadership skills, and overall well-being for women, ultimately contributing to stronger communities and a more equitable society.

Kyampisi Women Empowerment Resource Centre (KWERC) is a community-based organization in Mukono, Uganda. It focuses on improving the lives of vulnerable women and children through various programs, operating under the motto: "Empower Her, Elevate the World"

KWERC provides services designed to promote self-sufficiency and improve well-being:

Education and Training: Offers literacy, vocational skills, and leadership development programs.

Economic Empowerment: Supports women through business training, market access, microfinance, and kitchen garden projects.

Health and Wellness: Provides healthcare services including reproductive health and general wellness.

Social and Legal Support: Offers counseling and legal aid, particularly concerning gender-based violence.

Community Building: Creates a supportive environment for women.

Volunteers support the centre’s mission to uplift vulnerable women through education, skills training, and community development.
