  • Mission

The Bridge for Youth provides runaway and homeless youth with safe shelter and assists in the prevention and resolution of families whenever possible.

    About Us

The Bridge for Youth is a combination of onsite shelter and housing services for these youth experiencing homelessness, and outreach services on the street and in the community to meet youth where they are. The Bridge is a welcoming place to all youth, including runaway, BIPOC, LGBTQ, pregnant, and parenting youth.

Open 24/7/365, The Bridge's Resilience House is an emergency shelter for youth ages 10-17 focused on family reunification when safe and possible. Youth have access to temporary shelter in a welcoming, safe environment, along with support, meals, access to healthcare, case management, and support.

Gloria’s Place is the only emergency shelter in Minnesota specifically for unaccompanied, pregnant or parenting youth and their young children who are experiencing homelessness. Gloria’s Place provides emergency shelter, meals, clothing, case management, and support for youth ages 15-17 and their children ages 0-3.

Marlene’s Place is the first and only site-based transitional housing and case management program in Hennepin County for pregnant/parenting youth (ages 16-20) and their children (ages 0-3) experiencing homelessness.

Rita’s House is an intentional living community, providing affordable rental housing and teaching independent living skills to twelve youth ages 18-21.
