About Us
Volunteers for Community Impact, as a nonprofit organization, partners with other nonprofit organizations and government entities in VCI’s 5-county service area, VCI is able to make a difference in the community through high impact volunteerism as they engage volunteers at 200+ sites in the region. Since 1977, the Foster Grandparent Program and RSVP have been the local organization’s anchor programs. All VCI volunteers are comprehensively screened, receive training, and annual recognition. In the past 2 years alone, VCI volunteers have given 794,651 hours of volunteer service to the Central Florida community, which is more than $17 million worth of voluntary service re-invested into our local community.
