InnerAct Productions: Quality Theatre of Color! is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, theatre production company committed to making available to practitioners of color a greater opportunity for professional caliber work and compensation in the theatre industry. With its home base in Ft. Greene’s ART/NY South Oxford Space Building, the organization has serviced it’s community for six years through outstanding performances, free professional development workshops for actor’s and, MINT, InnerAct’s Mentorship/Internship program in Technical Theatre for young artists. It is the company’s objective to produce, for the general public, quality performances created by and for artists of color, and to produce within the central theater district of New York City wherein the work of these artists can exist as part of the American theatrical experience. InnerAct Productions is headed by Dr. John Foster, Ph.D. The company is a member of ART/NY -- The Alliance of Resident Theatres, New York.
