HEALTHY CLIMATE COMMUNITIES

  • Mission

Community education and action in Hawaii to fight climate change

    About Us

HCC has been planting and caring for a native forest on the watershed of Hāmākua Marsh in Kailua since 2015 with schools and other community groups. In addition to trees, we planted several endangered and rare native plants at our site, which is home to 3 species of endanged native birds. We also do teacher training and in-school workshops to educate on climate change.
