CiviCO

Founded in 1999, CiviCO (CiviCO) is a Colorado-based nonprofit leadership organization for the state's current and next generation of leaders. CiviCO's mission is to inspire, develop, and activate diverse leaders who elevate our community. Always bold in impact, deeply ingrained in purpose, inclusive at heart, and uncompromisingly together.

Core programming at CiviCO focuses on adults who are purpose-driven individuals across multiple sectors with robust leadership experience. CiviCO seeks individuals who bring knowledge, perspective, and insight to the leadership roundtable. With the help of its programs, it amplifies their impact and leverages their leadership experience toward a better Colorado.  Through a strategic partnership with Colorado Young Leaders, CiviCO also seeks to inspire youth (ages 13-18) to make a difference and create positive change through inclusive leadership.

Between the two, Colorado Young Leaders and CiviCO's leadership practitioners are individuals who seek connection to peer groups that are passionate and intent on serving their communities, the state of Colorado, and wherever life takes them. Our leaders carry a "we-over-me" approach to their life and work, regardless of age and experience. They are lifelong change-makers who are passionate and driven toward service to others and their communities.

A vital part of all programs is community impact and service. We design programs so leaders can apply their unique skills, strengths, and passions broadly in their communities and all areas of their lives. As a result, our program stakeholders are lifelong leaders and learners whose impact will ripple across our communities, state, and nation for generations.
