About Us

Our mission is to provide healthy physical and spiritual food to those who need it. Our vision is to make plant-based foods simple, nutritional and accessible to everyone.

The goal of helping people to eat better is so that they can make better decisions. And the best decision is to serve God and your fellow man. Oklahoma City is ranked as the second worst city for food access, which means that there is more than a five-minute walk to reach a nearby grocery store. The limited amount of grocery stores providing healthy food options attributes to higher rates of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and other lifestyle diseases. One area in Oklahoma City that is a known food desert is near Martin Luther King Boulevard and 23rd Street, our organization has conducted classes in this area since 2016. Additionally, the entire state of Oklahoma has a food crisis with one in four families being food insecure, and rates of diabetes and heart disease are higher than the national average.

Our organization provides three main services:

1) The Eat Better Box: plant based foods delivered to food deserts

2) Eight-week Health Education Courses: Diabetes Undone (diabetes reversal program), 8 Laws for Life (health laws from the Bible), Mental Health: Nedley Health Solutions (Depression and Anxiety Recovery program)

3) The Community Cooking Show: Library Cooking Classes

Utilizing these three services in the community assists us in fulfilling our mission.
