The Valkyries

The Valkyries is an all-girl rock band from Seattle, WA. We like to play benefit shows in the Puget Sound area whenever possible, especially to support nonprofit/volunteer-run organizations that serve the needs of young women and/or promote the all-ages music scene. One organization we work particularly closely with is Skate Like A Girl, http://www.skatelikeagirl.com. They coordinate skateboarding events in the Pacific Northwest for female skateboarders and gals that want to learn to skate, and are committed to creating an inclusive skateboarding culture.
