Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center

The Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center (MBPC) provides independent research and analysis of state budget and tax policies, as well as economic issues, that affect low- and moderate-income people in Massachusetts. Through the media and with direct contact, we educate the public by producing timely and engaging reports that examine state and national policies that affect low-income people. In addition, we work with organizations representing low- and moderate-income people in Massachusetts and serve as the primary source of information on general state budget issues for many of these groups.
