"When injured members of the military return home and discover hope and healing through sports, it awaits on their realization that they can still compete on their home courts or the international stage."
Today there are 60 million+ people with disability in our country alone. Our Founder Craig spent his entire life in developing the Basketball Return Delivery Machine (EZ Shot Wheelchair Basketball) that helps our physically challenged folks and our wounded veterans enjoy the game of basketball from a wheelchair.
Craig joined the US Navy in 1974 where he worked on the F-14 Aircraft Radar system and was honorably discharged in 1978.
Starting in 1985 he spent 38 long years to develop this machine and has 3 patents for it. It has been physically and mentally tiring for him. Incompetent and misleading sub contractors delayed the project. The machine was also very complex and it took a very long time to evolve into a working prototype. Fighting personal and vendor bankruptcies Craig never gave up on his dream. With a working machine in hand and more prototypes being developed we are ready to roll now.
Nevertheless the biggest high point came when NWBA recognized our efforts and said that "The system is one of the most fun and interesting new, interactive, non-contact sports games we have used for our events."
Volunteers are the bedrock of any Non-Profit. Unfortunately they are the unsung heroes. We like making personal connections with volunteers, understanding their needs, the problems that they are facing and "working together" rather than giving instructions.
We want to impact 1 million physically challenged folks and need support in fundraising, organizing events, digital marketing. Currently based in Denver I have plans to go national very soon.
