    Our mission is to provide sneakers and socks to the homeless in New York City. We collect new and gently used, men’s, women, and children’s sneakers and socks from high schools in New York City and donate them to the homeless. We envision a future in which every homeless person in New York City has a good pair of sneakers and socks to help them take the next step forward in their lives. ​ Sole Purpose provides a comfortable pair of sneakers and socks to help prevent a variety of foot-related medical ailments and provide protection from the environment which results in an enhanced quality of life and improved self-confidence.
