FOUNDATION FOR SERVICE DOG SUPPORT


  • Mission

    The Foundation for Service Dog Support (FSDS) is an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support and resources for people and service dogs. The FSDS provides training for service dog teams, support and encouragement for people who need service dogs and increased community awareness about the role of service dogs in public spaces. The FSDS preferentially grants service dogs to injured and/or disabled first responders, public safety officers, disabled military veterans, public school teachers, clergy and others who have provided outstanding service to our community.

    About Us

    The FSDS program creatively couples the delivery of service dog (SD) training education to those interested in acquiring marketable job skills with the provision of certified SDs to those in need here in AZ. Preference is given to wounded military and first responders. We also provide:

    • Canine FA and CPR Certification
    • Outreach Certification Program
    • SD Trainer Academy, where individuals can acquire trainer certification at four levels to include Novice, Jr. Instructor, Sr. Instructor, Master Trainer.
    • AZ POST approved training to local law enforcement
