  • About Us

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer- Houston is a weekend event involving a marathon-and-a-half walk (39.3 miles) that raises money to support breast cancer based entities, including awareness, education, and early detection and treatment programs— with a focus on local medically under served populations. Our beneficiaries range from leading cancer centers to community-based non-profit health programs. The Avon Walk-Houston raised more than $1.9 million in 2008 which was our inaugural year in Houston! Since 2003, The Avon Walk 9-City series of events has collectively raised more than $500 million dollars. Preparations are now underway for our 2012 Houston Walk which will be held on April 21-22, 2012.
