Emerge Venture Lab

The Emerge Venture Lab is a rigorous nationwide programme that helps high potential student-initiated social ventures get off the ground by providing high-impact mentoring and seed capital. The Lab was founded in 2010, and is sponsored by Barclay’s Capital, UnLtd, and Chelwood Capital. The Lab is part of the Emerge brand—a partnership between Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Student Hubs (both based at Oxford University)—which also includes the Emerge conference, in its third year and already one of the biggest conferences on social entrepreneurship globally.
