Mission
All JTutor staff, including the founders and volunteers, are bilingual in Japanese and English. Although each of us has taken a different path to become who we are now, we have all faced and overcome various language/culture barriers in our lives. From these experiences, JTutor works to help as many Japanese students as possible to struggle with English. Through assisting our students with the English language, every JTutor staff is committed to helping our students have a better life in America.
About Us
JTutor is a non-profit organization founded by high school students in September 2020 to support Japanese students in their English environment at US schools. Our goal is to help those students improve their English as well as increase their self-confidence.
The new environment of online classes, which has taken place due to the spread of COVID-19, undoubtedly brings many challenges. This is especially true for English learners. We're here to help those students!
We provide an online tutoring class to those newcomer students from preK~8 with the help of tutor volunteers from age 13~ with weekly homework help/Fundamental English lessons.
