The Learning Web

  • About Us

The Learning Web, located in Tompkins County NY in the heart of the lovely Finger Lakes, is one of the first programs in the nation to combine apprenticeships with mentoring. The agency has been working with county youth for over 45 years, helping them make a successful transition from adolescence to adulthood. Assisting over 13,600 youth—4,200 of these homeless youth—our programs enable a diverse group of young people to participate in a range of services that include apprenticeships, employment and life skills training, as well as in a supervised housing program for homeless youth. Through these programs, our participants have developed valuable skills that support them as they find their place in today’s complex world.
