  • About Us

Beth Am is, in Isaiah’s words, “a house of prayer for all peoples”. Our nearly 500 household memberships come from diverse backgrounds. Beth Am’s warm, child-friendly community and its pluralistic outlook make it a place that “feels like home”. The congregation was founded with an appreciation for the value of social, political, religious and life-style diversity. Located in the historic Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City, Beth Am is an egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our congregation balances traditional prayer and learning with innovative and intellectually stimulating dialogue.
