Habitat for Humanity Lake County, IL

HFH Lake County builds simple, decent, affordable housing with volunteer labor and through donations of funding and materials. Qualifying low-income families purchase the homes from Habitat at no profit. While building homes we build a sense of community among volunteers, donors and the larger community. Habitat families attend education classes on budgeting, home maintenance and yard maintenance. HFHLC operates a ReStore where we accept and sell new and used building material. The public is welcome.
