UNITED YOUTH FRONT INTERNATIONAL

It has been a revolutionary idea since its founding in 1996, as United Youth Front that could be applied to tackle and solve problems of access to good education and adequate information which prevent the development of awareness, skills and behaviour needed to combat some of the social ills in our societies. But not until 1998, when a Board of Trustees was constituted on 23 December, 1998 in Lagos Federal Republic of Nigeria-to channel the cause of the new organization and thereafter known as United Youth Front International-UYFI.

VISION OF UYFI: To Set A New Tune For the New and Next Millennium- the Most Critical Years Since Civilisation Began, Where No Man or Woman Will Be Cheated, Insulted, Oppressed or Deprived of Means of Livelihood and Growth Irrespective of Tribes, Creed or Gender. It Is For Us To Preserve The Good Future Of Our Youths

MISSION OF UYFI: Promotion and Protection of Fundamental Rights and Freedom of Youths, Women and Rural Dwellers in the 21st Century

PURPOSE OF UYFI: United Youth Front International, Is A Voluntary but International Non- governmental Organisation for Upliftment of Youth All Over the World for the Specific Purpose of Maintaining Unity, Truth, Justice and Peace from the Grasssroot

OBJECTIVE OF UYFI: * Integrate Youths into the Political, Economic, Technology and Social Structure of the Nations. * Promotion of all Infrastructure that are Responsible for the Survival of Youths. * Security and Guarantee of Youths' Position in the Environmental Settings * Research and Development Project(s) for the Rural Community. * Creation and Provision of Jobs for Unemployed Youths *Collaborate with National and International Agencies or Organizations by Networking and Coalition for the Achievement of Specific Goals for the Welfare and Development of Youths. *Scholarship Award for the Less Privilege at the Primary and Secondary Levels of Education. *Legal Protection * Mobilization and Coordination of Youth Organizations, Unions, Clubs etc to Allow for Optimization. * Create a Livelier More Desirable Image for Governments and the People.

Apart from National Policy and rules or guidelines for our organization, Uyfi use some documents passed at International Conference/Conventions to support its activities as follow;.

1. The 1945 United Nations Charter in Principle of Human Dignity, Equality and Equity.

2. The 1948 Universal Declaration Of Human Rights, and

3 The 2000 United Nations Millennium Declaration On Economic And Social Development
