Puppetry Arts New York (Puppetry Arts) was established in 1997 to supplement cultural programming in neighborhood schools, shelters, and foster care facilities by introducing the work of emerging artists and teachers in the discipline of puppetry. The organization provides affordable and accessible creative arts programming by collaborating with teachers, PTAs, principals, social workers, community leaders, and fellow organizations in four areas of focus: Puppetry Arts In Education, Puppetry Arts Theatre, Community Events, and the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP!).
